Beverly
Beverly is a
stunning mix of orange and brown tabby, with a touch of the
exotic. Check out her elegantly striped left sleeve and
stunning red highlights. We think there's a bit of Siamese
in her background -- just look at that regal profile, and
long, lean body. She's very intelligent, affectionate and
playful, but isn't terribly vocal as Siamese can be.
She's a quiet,
dignified girl who will appreciate a similar kind of
household. Beverly has always been around other cats and
kittens and she enjoys playing with them, but her style of
play is quite ladylike, and if things get too rough, she
will just step aside and find a lap to sit in while she
observes the goings-on. Beverly especially likes the track
ball toy, and you can see a movie of her playing with her
friend Kasey by clicking this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZhGRCkWUEc
She enjoys
sitting in sunny windowsills, rearranging all her toys and
other adored objects, napping in her pup tent, and sleeping
on the bed at night, snuggled up close. Here's another movie
of Beverly and Kasey, interrupted from their nap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyPVlQfN8i0
Beverly was born
in late April 2008. She has is spayed, up to date on vaccines
and has been tested negative for FIV and the feline leukemia
virus.

Kasey
When Kasey first
came to us, she was such a tiny little thing it was hard to
tell her age. She hadn't ever been indoors before, and at
first was frightened by everything in the house, including
toys. But she quickly learned to love the indoor-only
lifestyle, and figured out how to get the most mileage out
of all the toys. Here's a little video of her with one of
her favorites, a little number we call Squiggly Thing on a
Stick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ABlvcy1g4
She also loves having a blanket or sheet tossed on the
floor, that she can run and jump on, bunch up, slide around
and hide her toys under.
As Kasey reaped
the benefits of a much-improved diet, she suddenly started
to fill out and fluff up. She's got one of the long-haired,
long-legged breeds in her genes somewhere, maybe Forest Cat
or Maine Coon. Her markings are becoming more defined and
she's growing those fluffy tufts on her ears and toes that
are so charming. We guess she was born in April 2008.
She was a little
rambunctious at first, rough-housing with her fellow foster
kittens, but they set limits and taught her how to play
nicely. Kasey must have another kitten or playful cat to
keep her company; her best pal right now is Beverly and they
would love to stay together in their permanent home.
Kasey is up to
date on her vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and
the feline leukemia virus and is spayed.
